LCBSE
A considered approach to
Costa del Sol real estate.
A Nordic-founded, multilingual boutique working exclusively on the Costa del Sol. Four people, one coastline, and a book of properties we have actually visited.
Our story
From Helsinki and Berlin to the Costa del Sol.
LCBSE began with a simple observation: the Costa del Sol has some of the most desirable residential property in Southern Europe, yet the buying experience for international clients often felt closer to a bazaar than a boutique. Portal dumps of four hundred listings. Shared databases where the same villa appeared on thirty different agency websites with thirty different price tags. Phone calls that went unanswered. Photography borrowed from the developer and never updated since the model unit was dressed in 2017.
We set out to do the opposite. Maya, a Finnish business consultant with a background across hospitality, design and consulting, partnered with Marco, raised in Spain with German roots and deep knowledge of Spanish property law. Together they assembled a small, multilingual team — Nea running the exclusive listings book and Aino-Kaisa directing every visual touchpoint — and decided to work only with properties they could personally visit, photograph and price against recent comparable sales.
That editorial discipline is the foundation of everything we do. Our book is deliberately small — a few dozen homes at any moment rather than a few hundred — because a tight shortlist is more useful than a long scroll. Every price has been pressure-tested against the last five comparable transactions on the same hillside, and every description is written by someone who has actually stood in the living room and watched the sunset from the terrace.
The Nordic background matters because it shaped the service model. In Scandinavia, real estate transactions are transparent, process-driven and low-pressure by design. We brought that same sensibility to the Spanish market: honest pricing advice, a clear timeline from reservation to notary, bilingual coordination with lawyers and banks, and a standing promise that we would rather lose a deal than push a client toward the wrong property. That is the agency we wanted to exist on the Costa del Sol, so we built it.
Our approach
Three principles we never bend.
Every Property Visited
We do not list a home we have not walked through ourselves. Every villa, apartment and development in the book has been visited, photographed and priced by a member of the team — never scraped from a portal or inherited from a shared database.
Multilingual From Day One
Our team works fluently in English, Spanish, Finnish, German, Dutch and Swedish. That means your lawyer briefing, your notary appointment and your neighbourhood questions happen in whatever language you think in — not a translation of someone else's notes.
No Pressure, No Commission Chasing
We would rather lose a deal than push a client toward the wrong property. Our business is built on repeat referrals from families who trust us, and that only works when the advice is genuinely honest — even when it costs us a fee.
Next step
Tell us what you are looking for.
Whether you are browsing from abroad or already on the coast, a thirty-minute call with our team is the fastest way to a considered shortlist. No pressure, no portal dump — just honest advice in the language you prefer.
